1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Summitodoro, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Summitodoro for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. A Google account is required for saved progress and AWS-backed features. Keep your Google account and Summitodoro session secure, do not share access credentials, and promptly let us know about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and activity occurring through your session.
3. The service
Summitodoro combines a focus timer, task list, virtual mountain progression, rewards, and optional co-op rooms. Features may evolve, be limited, or be discontinued. Trail Coins, XP, unlocks, and other virtual items have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not a financial product or stored-value account.
Summitodoro is a productivity experience—not a hiking guide, navigation system, emergency service, medical tool, or source of trail-access and safety advice. Do not rely on its routes or maps for real-world travel.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or violate another person's rights.
- Attempt to access another account, private room, system, or data without authorization.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security, rate limits, rewards, or access controls.
- Upload or share malicious, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or unlawful material.
- Automate access in a way that harms the service or other users.
Keep friend-room codes private and share them only with people you trust. Room hosts can remove participants, and Summitodoro may restrict abusive or unsafe activity.
5. Your content and license
You retain ownership of task text, display names, and other content you submit. You grant Summitodoro a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content.
6. Third-party services
Google, Amazon Web Services, OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap, and YouTube provide parts of the experience under their own terms and policies. Summitodoro is not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, or changes. Your use of those services may be subject to additional terms.
7. Availability and account action
We aim to keep Summitodoro available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. You may stop using Summitodoro at any time and request account deletion by emailing summitodoro@louienismal.com.
8. Our content and intellectual property
Summitodoro's software, branding, visual design, and other service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms. Except where law permits or we give written permission, do not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit the service or its content.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Summitodoro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. You remain responsible for your tasks, time-management choices, account security, and real-world activities.
To the extent permitted by law, Summitodoro and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and an appropriate notice.
